Welcome to Tabs!

Here's what you'll need to know to have a great time with Tabs.

When you're browsing the web and see a product, website, an idea that you would like to save, you can add it to Tabs using one of the methods below. A tab is a page on our site with your saved link plus any additional information we have for that link like an image, description, price information and notes from you or other users.

Everything saved to Tabs is saved to a list, you start off with a public 'Favorites' list. If you don't create other lists, all your tabs will be saved to that list. You can edit lists, change them from public to private and delete tabs from lists. You can share public lists outside of Tabs, but private lists are completely private to you unless you add co-creators. To see what kinds of things other folks are saving to their public lists you can use Search.

Let's get you started with the easiest way to start saving. We currently have a few options.

Browser Extensions

If you use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser, the easiest way to add to Tabs is by installing the Tabs Extension. Any time you see something you want to add, just smash our T logo and we'll add it right away to your Default list. You add it to another list or create a new list for that tab from our extension as well.

Search

If you're not quite sure what to add yet, look for something from your fellow Tabs users. You'll see a Bookmark button on tabs from other users. You'll be able to save them to your own lists from there.

Add

Have a great tab to add and you're already in Tabs? Just hit the Add button in the toolbar and paste the URL there. Especially helpful when you're on mobile. We don't have a mobile app yet, but stay tuned.

Have fun and if you need any help, contact us.
